Dairy Free for 1 Month
Yep, it’s been one month since I decided to start a dairy free diet. So how’s it been going? Well, the good news is I didn’t have any of the really scary dairy detox symptoms I found described other places on the internet. I will admit that it hasn’t been easy, and there’s been some digestive issues, but nothing too unpleasant.

Hi, My Name is Brad, and I’m a cheeseaholic.
It’s been 1 day since my last bite of cheese…
Ok, ok, not that I’m making fun of addiction. But I can make fun of myself. I mean seriously, I went on a total cheese bender this weekend… knowing that I was going to go cold turkey on cheese starting today. Well… how’d I do? I’m still clean and cheese (dairy) free… so I guess that’s something.

Phil’s got a problem… I’m back!

But… sorry Phil… you’ve got a problem… and it’s coming on fast… coming on strong… and in slightly more than 60 days… you are going to be sorry you ever opened your mouth… and started flapping. Read the rest of this entry »

Considering Getting Clean
My two weeks of recovery after my Ironman are almost over. My activity has been minimal, and I’m eager to get back into the swing of things. But all this sitting around has got me thinking about my fitness more holistically. The subject of nutrition and the foods that make up my standard diet has started to creep into my thinking. Pick 4 Other Bloggers…
Ok, this thing is harder than it sounds, so I apologize in advance for the four of you if you actually take this on. I normally am not a fan of chain letter things, but I am actually very interested in hearing the answers to these questions for Bill and Cathy, and although I know many of the answers for my sis and bro, I figure it would be interesting for others to meet them too.
