CompuTrainer - January Blog Winner

Posted by Brad Hefta-Gaub under: Fitness.

Wow! How exciting… I just found out that my Blog is the January Blog Winner for the RacerMate/CompuTrainer blog of the month.

Apparently since I won, I win a prize of a “Real Course Video” which is very exciting indeed! I’ve been looking at these courses and imaging that it would be fun to have one.

I decided to get the Ironman World Championship, Kona, Hawaii course. I figure that’s the only way I’ll ever be able to race this course… virtually!

So what is a “Real Course Video” — well - it’s a special mode of the CompuTrainer that will synchronize a video of the real race course on race day with your performance on the CompuTrainer. You pedal faster, you “ride past” the course faster, you stop pedaling – the video stops.

I can’t wait to try it out!

About Brad

Me in 2002 - 200lbsThis is my fitness blog. Some people who knew me a long time ago may wonder, what the heck I'm doing writing a blog about fitness. Many of them wouldn't imagine that I'd have anything to do with fitness. You see, up until age 34, I treated my body very poorly. I sat around at home, at work, at play. I ate junk food and lots of it. And the result was what you'd expect 5'4" and 200 lbs with 36% body fat. (more...)
