Commute to Meetings
Posted by Brad Hefta-Gaub under: Cycle.
Nothing special to report… Although one funny (at least to me) thing that happened on this trip: when I got to my destination (a doughnut shop!) there was a collection of Seattle bike cops hanging out there.
First, it was BIKE COPS at a DOUGHNUT SHOP! What is the deal with Cops and Doughnut shops!?!!!!
Second, there were probably 12 cops, and they lined their bikes up side by side on the sidewalk… kinda like how a motorcycle gang would line up their motorcycles… of course, they didn’t lock their bikes… I mean, who’s gonna steal a police bike, right? BUT! they were blocking the bike rack… so I couldn’t use it! I had to lock my bike up down the street to a light post. LAME!

They have coffee at this donut shop, right? Then that’s your answer. Car-riding police officers eat donuts, bike-riding police officers drink coffee like other cyclists.
