Laps at Pool

Kids had a pool party… the kids played in the shallow pool, and after an hour of sitting there chatting with other parents, I decided to do some laps… unfortunately, they only let us swim for 15 minutes before they closed to pool to have it serviced.

I hate swimming in a pool!

Laps at Pool

You just need to move countries so you can find a good pool. We have lots of outdoor heated 50m pools that are open early to late and apart from at peak times, pretty quiet.

Worst thing is the walk from the change room in winter and the hot concrete in summer. Oh, and the odd swimming rabbit ;)

I was just wondering the halls of Sweat365 and fell upon a local Minnesotan who is training for IM 2008 Wisconsin…anyway, you had commented on her blog that you were happy to see she played cribbage! So my new goal for 2009 is to race this race…http://www.racecenter.com/pacificcrest/halftridu/index.htm…

then somehow meet you and Peter Engwall somewhere between there and WA and play some cribbage!!!!! We play cribbage every tuesday night (oh shoot, tonight is tuesday, I need to set it up) and hang out…it’s my ONLY night to consume a light beer if I so choose…so I love it that much more. Haha…Just thought it was sorta funn, but you probably would have to share my nit-wit brain to understand. Carry on! 15-2, 15-4

Me in 2002 - 200lbsThis is my fitness blog. Some people who knew me a long time ago may wonder, what the heck I'm doing writing a blog about fitness. Many of them wouldn't imagine that I'd have anything to do with fitness. You see, up until age 34, I treated my body very poorly. I sat around at home, at work, at play. I ate junk food and lots of it. And the result was what you'd expect 5'4" and 200 lbs with 36% body fat. (more...)
