The amount of commuting that you do is motivating to me. I had one good period during my life that I commuted…. now I rarely do. Maybe if I took my old Bianchi and made a single speed (don’t think it would work as a fixie) it would make me more motivated again (is that good justification for more bike gear!?)

Brad-

Training for the mini is going well. Work out about 5 days a week. I’m an avid runner, but it is tough for me to add weight training when I know it would benefit my results.

I am just trying to do half-marathons, I couldn’t imagine tri’s…You have a great outlook and sounds like you had a background much as I did. Keep me posted on your progress. You are very motivated.
