Playing in the Snow
This weekend was supposed to be the Y-Guides trip to Lake Wenatchee… but we’ve had so much snow (Keith how are you handling it?) that they closed the camp, and both mountain passes were closed. My girls were both very disappointed. So I organized (or at least kept sending email to the group till everyone else relented) a mini-snow trip to play in the snow and go sledding.
One of the passes opened enough to allow us to get up to a snow park with a nice sled run. The girls and Dads had a blast, even though it rained on us most of the day. No one seemed to notice we had so much fun. Grown men throwing snowballs at each other and sliding down a hill on sled. We hardly even noticed the kids.

I’m ready for spring!! I heard some pretty good stories from coworkers who were trying to make it back and forth across the pass this weekend - didn’t sound like much fun.
We’ve had 40+ for the past four days here in Wenatchee and are finally starting to see blacktop again - ahh, feels so much better than snow on the bottom side of my running shoes.
Wont be long now and we’ll be complaining about how hot it is
