Jobs I’ve held-
(I’ll leave out the obvious ones of Computer Programmer and CEO.)
- King’s Dominion Rides Operator
- Domino’s Pizza Delivery Driver
- Camera and Jewelry Sales person at K-Mart
- Head MoFo In Charge - Record Label Owner
Movies I Can Watch Over & Over-
- Repo Man - my all time favorite movie
- Full Metal Jacket - But really, almost anything from Stanley Kubrick…
- Pulp Fiction - “Say what again!” - Again, pretty much anything from QT and I’m gonna watch it.
- Dark City - This one is a film that most people haven’t heard of… and it feels a little long to sit through… but I just love the twists in the story.
My Guilty Pleasures-
Like others have said before me, I don’t have guilt about these pleasures… but instead I just ride and run hunderds of miles a week to work them off…
- Cheese - I love cheese…
- Cocktails - I love a good drink. I love to challenge a bartender and I love it even more when they rise to the occasion. Hotwired.com used to have one of the best online drink collections with great stories about the drinks and proper instructions on making them. I prefer the classics done well.
- Gadgets - I love gadgets, gizmos, etc… GPS, computers, audio players, video players, phones, etc.
- Multimedia of All Kinds -Music, Movies, TV, Visual Arts, etc… I love to consume other creative peoples artistic output.

Shows I Enjoy-
Current favorites… since it’s summer, these aren’t all on, but once they come on you can be sure I’ll be watching them.
- Burn Notice - New summer series on USA about a Spy who has been “burned” meaning he got kicked out. He has to figure out how to get back in with no resources. Check it out, it’s good.
- Lost
- Heroes
- Baseball Tonight - Now that the tour is over.
Places I have Been on Vacation-
In order of most favoritist.
- Maui, Hawaii
- Venice, Italy
- Disney Land
- Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Favorite Foods-
- Anything with cheese!

- Enchilada & Chili Relleno
- Bananas Foster French Toast with a side of eggs over easy and breakfast sausage at the Portage Bay Cafe. Especially good after a long morning bike ride. YUM!
Websites I visit Daily-
- Sweat365 - of course

- gmail - well… it is a website.
Body Parts I have injured-
- Calcaneus Stress Fracture to Right Heel - running
- Strained left hip flexor - cycling
- Bruised left ribs and massive contusion to right bicep - cycling crash
- Calcaneus Stress Fracture to Left Heel - running
Awards You’ve Won-
- Multiple US Patents - Although are these really awards?
- Database Division Employee of the Year - Asymetrix Corp. - Although I am pretty sure I was the only one who ever won the award… so it wasn’t like an actual yearly thing.
- First Place in 6th Grade Talent Show for Ventriloquist act
- First Place Overall - Elma Sprint Triathlon - Easter 2007
Nicknames you’ve been called-
- “Bradley Douglas Gaub You Get Down Here Right This Second” - at least that’s what I remember my mom calling me a lot as a kid.
- “Felix Leadfingers” - Felix was my chosen French name for Highschool French class — and Leadfingers is for playing the guitar.
- “ZappoMan” - Came from my HMFIC Indie Record Label days, one of the bands made a poster of me saying “Zappo Man!” and everyone started calling me the Zappo Man.
- “BHG” - duh!
Pick 4 Other Bloggers…
Ok, this thing is harder than it sounds, so I apologize in advance for the four of you if you actually take this on. I normally am not a fan of chain letter things, but I am actually very interested in hearing the answers to these questions for Bill and Cathy, and although I know many of the answers for my sis and bro, I figure it would be interesting for others to meet them too.

We’re a little hooked on Burn Notice this summer, too. Damn DVR = I watch more TV in summer than I did prior to it. And, Dark City. That is a good one!

I love Dark City (even if Keifer has that weird raspy voice all the way through it) It kinda preceded The Matrix, in ideas. Very overlooked, good flick.
Brad Hefta-Gaub Says:
Excellent point about Dark City vs. The Matrix… very similar themes. By the way, I saw that my Sister Sheba mentioned 5th Element in her Tag… that’s also a fun flick.

..and I thought you were simply a husband, dad & ironman freak! Let me know when you want to hit the track again! Give me sometime to recover from my 50. If only I could bike and swim….

I am with Bill. : ) Though I don’t mind getting tagged as much as I mind tagging four of my friends. Sounds like Brad was a bit reticent about that part too. : )
