Final Day In San Fran
We had a nice final day in San Francisco on Saturday. We gave ourselves about 3 hours of wandering around the city just enjoying the urban landscape as two adults. We didn’t bring the kids along on this trip as it was sort of an anniversary gift to ourselves.
We love our kids, of course, and at 5 and 7 years old, they’re pretty good travelers… but hours in museums and walking around a big city aimlessly taking in whatever catches your eye is not always that enjoyable for kids. So we opted to leave them at home with the Grandparents. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their respective weekends.
Since we were staying on Nob Hill, we rode the street car down to the Embarcadero and then walked along the water front. Again, I don’t know exactly how far we actually walked so I’m just giving myself a 3 mile credit. We certainly walked longer than 1 hour, and probably walked faster than 20min/mile… but I figure this is all recovery credits really.
